Different tools for specific applications

We offer remote and in house 3D scanning services. Currently we have three different tools available. There is no one scanner that can do every job. Our diverse lineup of tools makes us available to scan anything from thin-walled plastic parts up to monuments. Scanning Human face and capturing hair is also possible.

Creaform Handyscan Black Elite

For high precision Metrology we use a Creaform Laser Scanner. This Black Elite is capable of measuring to an accuracy of 0.025 mm. Volumetric accuracy is below 0.04 mm / meter. It can produce a point cloud at 0.1 mm resolution. This kind of accuracy is required when scanning Tools, Moulds, and reverse engineering intricate details. This scanner can also scan Shiny of Black objects with no surface preparation.

Creaform Mobile Workstation

This mobile workstation is a military grade piece of equipment. It has wheels and a handle to take the scanner anywhere and work remotely. Coupled with a very high-end laptop and a battery, it is feasible to scan high precision objects remotely. We can take the whole system to your location and acquire the data seamlessly. True portability is real.

Artec Leo

For work that is outdoors or not so critical, we use an Artec Leo. The Leo is an amazingly fast scanner and can capture in full colour. Its accuracy is 0.25 mm. Point resolution is between 0.25 mm to 0.50 mm depending on mode used. The Leo can capture up to 3 million points / second. It has a large field of view It has a hard drive, battery, touchscreen, and built in CPU. Since the Leo is untethered and does not require markers, it is the best choice to take to a museum. It can be taken anywhere, unbox and begin work in minutes.

EinScan H

For scanning humans, we use an Inferred scanner. Both the laser and structured light cameras will not pick up hair. Bright lights are hard on the eyes. The EinScan H has inferred projectors on it. Inferred is not harmful to the human eye. This EinScan H scanner is a valuable addition to our toolbox.
