After prototypes are made, tried, and tested the next step is production. Our in-house machining services use a CNC router, Milling machine and Lathe. We also have complimentary machines such as Drill Press, Band Saw, Pedestal Grinder, and many Woodworking machines. We are capable of machining Aluminum, Mild Steel, Plastic and Wood.
CNC ROUTER
This C1-44OT-AT router has a XYZ travel of 55 X 52 X 11. It is equipped with a 1.5-inch-thick fixture plate with a standard hole pattern. This hole pattern can be used for clamping other fixtures to it, or just the work piece. Extensive tooling has been purchased including machine vices and a lowrider 3 jaw chuck. The router is equipped with mist coolant. This machine is capable of cutting Aluminum, plastic, and wood.CNC Supra Milling Machine
The Supra is a classic knee style milling machine with CNC technology. It has full three axis interpolated movement. The maximum travel is 34” X 11.5” on the X and Y. Z axis is quill driven for accuracy. Additional travel can be gained by using a fixture plate and extending or swinging the Ram.CNC 1440 Lathe
The 1440 lathe is a very versatile machine. It can be used as both a CNC lathe or conventional just by disengaging a lever. This lathe can handle work 8” diameter over the saddle and has a travel of 34.5 inch along it’s Z axis.Mastercam Software
All CNC programming is created using the latest version of Mastercam. With Mastercam V2024, we have Mill Level 2 enabled. This allows us to program 2D shapes, pocket and drilling easily. Toolpaths can be verified with a built-in simulator. Stock models can be exported for comparison to data. Not only can we program for our own machines, but we are also an outsource for larger companies.
